Quality system-built Dynamic Homes are constructed to the Minnesota Energy Code which is among the strictest in the country. Dynamic Homes recently received a Tier 2 energy rating, the highest awarded, under Minnesota Power’s Triple E Program. The certification indicates that Dynamic Homes are built to meet or exceed Triple E program standards and objectives.
“The Triple E Certification requires several inspections as a home is being built, but with system-built homes like Dynamic Homes we can skip the first two inspections,” said Dean Talbott, Project Manager for Minnesota Power. “The air-tightness test—which uses a large fan in an exterior doorway to create negative pressure in the home in order to measure air leakage—shows that factory-built homes in general are built very tight,” Talbott said.
Dynamic Homes also utilizes windows and appliances with Energy Star Ratings. Because of heightened energy efficiency, a Dynamic home may also qualify for rebates and special financing incentives.
